Status Updates From Million-Dollar Throw

Nate Brodie is the 13-year-old protagonist of Million Dollar Throw. He is an eighth-grade star quarterback whose life revolves around football, his family, and his best friend, Abby. His nickname is Brady because of his good passing style and resemblance to the play style of his idol, Tom Brady.

The main setting of the story is autumn in Valley, Massachusetts in the late 2000s. The setting right now takes place inside Abby’s house during the evening. In this scene, Nate visits his best friend Abby and directly witnesses how her bad medical condition is damaging her eyesight. Even though she is struggling to see, Abby uses humor to cheer up Nate and acts incredibly brave to keep him from worrying.

This book is an amazing mix of thrill, sports, and drama. The plot has so many twists and turns that it is crazy. It also has some action too. Nate is very worried and doesn't want to let anyone down. His biggest supporter is his best friend Abby who is currently suffering from an eye disease that can cause blindness. This book is even tragic and sad. This book has so many genres throughout the story.

Nate is a young football prodigy who plays quarter back and looks up to Tom Brady. Although he is great at football he comes from a poor family. He comes across a great opportunity where he can earn 1000000 just be making a thirty yard throw into a hole although he doesn't want to. His mom was able to convince him to try and signed him up. I love this book because I can relate to sports stressing me out.
