Am I surprised the author is white? No. Am I surprised the author chose to write that the orc village still does "old timey" procedures that seem inhumane.... no.

Authors have to understand racial undertones/themes when writing monster x human books. I want to rip my hair out.

This is so fun and light and perfect for me to indulge in between things. Love the writing style and the fantasy that’s easy to get lost in.

I feel the fantasy, I feel excited. I feel involved. I kind of love this so far,, and the switching POVs actually works relatively well for this author.

Already seeing the authors progress from writing their first iteration to this one.. I actually love the way it’s written and have little to no complaints!
