Ruswitna is a main character who struggles at the beginning and is giving a job at the plant she helped to build with her own hands. She is raped and her supervisor a man from australia promotes her and her lives flourishes finally becoming the wife of the most powerful man in indonesia. Her daughter although privileged does not know that she is her mother and seems to struggle after finding the man of her dreams...

I have never read about Indonesia and love this story. Its about a major family that puts up nuclear reactors for energy use. I think so far that it is a good read.
