Status Updates From At the Foot of Blue Mountai...

I have read the novella, "The Road to Bukhara" by Sadriddin Aini, the first piece in the book and now wish I could find his full story. It is a simple piece, but oh so lovely. The story is told in vignettes from the perspective of an adult recounting his life from about age 6 to 12. Great character development and explanations of rituals and day-to-day life. I would give this one a 5 for sure.
