Status Updates From Scream of the White Bears

Not gonna lie...I was ready to drop this book a few weeks back. The religious tie ins have just been super aggressive in his story and it's a bit distracting.

The language and name system can also be hard to keep track of.

At this point I'm only continuing because I hate to leave a book unfinished. But this does not compare to Fell or The Sight in terms of enjoyment.

I am incredibly frustrated because we're at the climax of the book, and we learn about all the cool things other characters have been doing off-screen instead of spending time with them over boring-ass Uteq wandering around in the snow, whining.

qilaq literally explained his plan like 200 pages ago and everyone is shocked that he............................ executed his plan. that's not a twist, that's just everyone being stupid

Oh my god the amount of times our heroes come across the enemy army just spouting exposition about their plans is so funny.

In surprising news though, Qilaq is currently my favorite character. Nice turnaround, there.
