So Poe was somewhat of an alcoholic and nearly every women he ever loved died young…or rather he became an alcoholic from all the loves of his life dying… 🤔

I probably have to do my audio class end of the month project on recreating one of Edgar Allan Poe’s work as a miniature audio book. Thinking of recreating the raven story.Going to read this to find out which work I like the most 🫨😪

Spirits of the Dead was today's poem and I, quite unsurprisingly, really liked this one too. Paints a very haunting image of standing alone in a cemetary and pondering death.
