Phew. I was starting to fear that the ghosts were metaphorical.

Meh. No build-up (romance-wise), no chemistry, just a lot of sudden, out of nowhere insta-lust and sex. This does not look promising for the rest of the book, unfortunately....

Started out very promising and the pacing fit the atmosphere and overall feel of the bock.... so why the sudden rush now?

"I am psychic. I see ghosts." Who the hell would believe such a thing right of the bat without questioning it even a little bit?

Also, what's with declarations like this "I don't know why I came here, if it wasn't to meet you." After having known each other for only a day?!
Meh.

If The Druid Stone and Scrap Metal had a baby, it would be this book...

Wow. This is good. And by "good" I mean "something really special." The writing is amazing... I can even hear John's Scottish brogue in my head, without the author ever resorting to dialect.

Really very beautifully done, I'm feeling the connection between John and Nick

This time of year really does call for a ghost story

I'm current rly looking for a new book to start. This one: Intriguing beginning, atmospheric, but after reading reviews that say it's insta-love and too many sex scenes, I think I'll set it aside for the moment.
