What are the abstract principles students need to succeed in my content area? How can those abstractions be presented and practiced in such a way that students begin to see the connections across multiple contexts?

Two things: 1) it is shocking how much of our scientific understanding of human behavior is rooted in animal cruelty 2) it is equally shocking that these ideas are still up for debate? really goes to show you that people will SAY they are changing and adopt the new language while continuing to stay exactly the same
