I'll have to check the original on this for the sentence about lifelong innocence. Just curious about the wording in Turkish. I'm also pretty sure that such a thing is more of a curse than a blessing...

That's an interesting problem with the food poisoning around the container associated with the drink because those were drinking large quantities aren't getting ill but those who drink just a little are, so maybe it's just a matter of being accustomed to whatever bacteria is in it?

I think this book reminds me of what I felt watching grand Budapest hotel where there’s a lot going on but in such a small time frame and it’s also comedic but serious and introspective. I do think I need some more historical context but I’m liking this so far :D

That's an interesting opinion coming from a religious leader, who has seen enough people to know whether people are really that stupid, and apparently decided that the majority are simply so stupid as to imitate those committing suicide just because they see other people committing suicide. Right. That's logical. Not.
