Status Updates From No Reino de Glome

😭😭 it's so bad. I can't make it two chapters without crying. I didn't anticipate that the reread would be so painful and hurt more than the original read through. This book is too good. My mind begins to think I should reread east of eden next......I suppose I want pain 😂😭

I am in my myth retelling era (I will probably be listening to hadestown soon).
This is really bad (aka amazing), and I'm already weeping. Rereading this is worse than just a first time reading

to herself orual was ungit in that she found herself cruel and in the end useless and selfish, but to the people she ruled over she was their psyche in her kindness, mercy, and prosperity for the kingdom. she did all that wanting and hoping and needing for psyche that it was only when she let go of psyche (even if it was messy) to go on her own that orual gained subconscious courage to become great

she did not suffer more than you just cause it was supernatural ohhhh my god

even through all their differed agonies orual and psyche were connect:’) orual seeing the suffering and her trials through dreams all these years

i feel so awful for orual she gives and gives but deals with the ignorance of not understanding gods because they don’t bother to come to her, is her fault just being a woman hardened by life and not conventionally attractive, if her and psyche switched places would eros and aphrodite give her any kind of attention or mercy they did psyche?

why does she care so much more about her husband over her own sister it really seems shallow and she’s so naive 😭
