“It’s hard to forget pain, but even harder to remember sweetness. We have no scars to show for happiness. We learn so little from peace.”

After a week of abstinence, I bought this book coming back from a lecture. Probably an eye-roll worthy opinion to avid readers, but I love Palahniuk’s style. Maybe it’s the nihilism. Or the way he just grips your attention. Idk, but I’m excited to dig into this, and then probably Survivor then Rant (at my local bookstore). Maybe even Fight Club, but I’ve seen the movie three times so it’s not a priority.
