Assigned reading by my department chair ahead of starting residency! He says “this book is a quick but important read. Our reputation is excellent care and kindness.” Looking forward to seeing what it says while acknowledging this book is from 2002 haha

Don’t read quickly! This author writes to either initiate or remind people what it is to choose civility. He introduces definitions of many rules and layers to achieve this. It’s quite natural if you slow down and follow him through this process.
