It irritates me when white ppl in her books use slave so casually. Like, ugh. Stop. Say something else. Labor, free labor, putty in ur hands re food. Something other than slave. It's so gross. 2001 is no excuse either. I wish I was skipping, but learning magic is the same. Training is the same. So I really don't care or need it. But, I enjoy this series so much and it's speeding by. Oh well.
