It's such a short read that the progress flew by in under an hour. I don't feel particularly attached or strongly about any character. I am wondering when the little girl is going to stop competing with the umbrellata for houseplant supremacy though

The main novel ends in a way where you, like the two main characters, see it coming but are still surprised at its final act in its violence. I’m currently scared to read the last story tucked at the end
