Virgil (lord Damien) ran off with the neighbour's new marchioness, Phenice. He was 19 and she 31. They lived a debauched life for six years til she left him for a younger and crueler man. Then he traveled for 6 more years.
He is now 31 and Gracila is 19.
They don't meet til 30%.
Then the story takes an entire chapter (7ch total) to tell all about how bewitched Virgil was by Phenice. And there were many other women.

Golden Time is on page 90 of 151

It took a Herculean courage to read a chapter (chapter 4) full of information about the hero, his lover and their sordid past.... My stomach flipped with disgust.... Wow B.C. dedicated a full chapter that makes me nausea! I hated the woman who ruined Virgil not only his name his dignity but all of him! I also hated him because his so damn stupid he deserve the coldness people treated him!
