How many of you out there have been struggling with getting through a book that you were clearly not enjoying? What point do you stop and say I’ve had enough of this? I feel like I’m supposed to enjoy this since I normally do like sci-fi, but there’s just something about this book that I just cannot get into. I am going to hang in there, but we’ll see what happens.

I wish some of these moments were given time to breathe. Feels like we’re just swept along from set piece to set piece without getting any introspection on how Case feels about things that happen.
