Status Updates From Catherine of Siena

so far i'm enjoying this much more than I thought i would (*i have to read this book for school)

this is making me so excited to read Undset's other books because this is just miraculous it's gorgeous she renders Catherine with so much care she really comes alive.

I’ve DNF this book twice now but I keep picking it back up. Some of Catherine’s life is a bit much for me as a Protestant but I can’t deny the power of her life and character
