I’m so fucking bored

She has some very beautiful passages, astute observations and minutiae of character expressed nicely in both gestures and tone. Everyone feels very English in both a modern and old-fashioned way, swimming with depths but remaining very remote from one another. But when deeper feelings attempt to be expressed, it’s like they dreamily speak half-reasoned thoughts, unintelligible to both themselves and everyone else.
