I don't really understand how this book can be compared to the awesome that is Cottonwood... So far Eden is basically about a human female who screams a lot and thinks that the alien (who looks a bit like a Native American) is superhot ... so yeah, no. I will continue but my hopes have dwindled.

The characters are supposed to be scientists and professionals and yet everything they do and say demonstrates immaturity and extreme idiocy. Can't stand it. Makes it completely unbelievable and I haven't even got to the main story yet. Don't want to go on.
