Eh oui, ANOTHER series mixing history novel and crime, (which I like!). The plot takes place during the second half of the XVIIIth century in London. What is intriguing here is that the main character, judge John Fielding really existed. He was blind and happened to be the half brother of Henry Fielding. On the top of it, Bruce Alexander’s style is really enjoyable. Let’s keep an eye on this series!
