Such an important book! I wish this book was on every school’s reading list. I would have loved learning all these things so much earlier in life.

Amazing. It’s heartbreaking to me that there is nothing like this available from a more recent year! This was published in 1996. We are so overdue on this all important issue.

My gawd..... it's not the 'animals' at issue here, but rather how horrific humans are in their need to study, categorize, and conquer to prove (unsuccessfully) their superiority. Animals are sentient; there is no denying. But the ways researchers go about proving/disproving are horrific & show how UNfeeling humans can be 😮😔
