Seems like a fairly conventional plot with the innocent heroine pining after the experienced rake. Early start seems ok - not great but not bad. Hopefully this doesn’t drag.

It makes me really want to question Lady Victoria. Did she splendidly weave a series of happenings to make a good reason to be wed to a fine catch? Brilliant, brilliant. But if she really is pregnant with James's child, she'll either be having a miscarriage or she dies. You can't fool me tho-- I'VE READ THE LAST BOOK. James isn't that hard-souled 😢 Why, he's the sweetest husband I can ever imagine.

Hear ye, hear ye. I have a proposition to make. Or a guess, if you will. I cannot say which is which. BUT. (Oh my god this is so exciting) WHAT IF, always assuming that Lady Victoria is pregnant-- what if the Earl of Granville is the father? OR, what if EoG will be the baby's father? And by that, I mean they should marry. Gosh, I can't. Stupid Missy for not seeing such a great catch.
