Status Updates From Dexter by Design

The way feel that I’m being unfair to these books because of the show, the witness of Dexter doesn’t exist and constantly relies on other people to learn about his victims (or lack there of). Now that Deborah is in the hospital, Dexter relies on Kyle Chutsky to find his stalker that is trying to frame him for murder. Once again, Cody and Astor are in the crossfire. The messiness doesn’t work.

Dexter is married, his Dark Passenger has returned, but extracurricular activities are still on pause as Dexter continues to be detective’s assistant with the addition of being a Father.

With my last review, Jeff Lindsay continues to be extremely predictable. Book 1: Laguerta, Book 2: Doakes, Book 3: Cody + Aster, Book 4: Deb. I am getting bored of major characters being in trouble to result in a climax at the end
