Not preaching on Micah, but finishing out the book anyway. The stylistic change moving from Baker and Alexander to Waltke is pronounced (and positive)!

Alexander's remarks on chapter 4 might be the highlight of his Jonah commentary.

It's genuinely baffling to me how many commentators (Alexander included) interpret Jonah's prayer in chapter 2 as straightforwardly positive when Jonah's actions, both before and after, betray his lack of both repentance and grace. If those who have been forgiven much love much, then it's at least questionable if Jonah actually experiences any kind of spiritual breakthrough here.
