Status Updates From How I Came to Be A Writer

She just stated that none of her forty four relatives had “never been to jail. No one had ever been arrested, molested, or raped.”

Now that’s a very odd and precise statement to make. And why would you? Why does it matter enough to put it in this book? I’m so confused.

This isn’t my favorite memoir ever, it’s a bit boring :/

I just don’t like biography’s because real life is boring.

Breaks my heart seeing a young Phyllis think she's not good enough to be a writer 3 but just you wait !
