Status Updates From Henry Darger

Darger's work is monumental. Biesenbach's introduction, while acknowledging and carefully documenting instances where Darger's influence was cited by other artists, stretches things a bit much by connecting his interpretation of other artists' motivations with those of Darger. It's too much of a stretch, and it's too bad. Biesenbach could have just left well enough alone, but he did too much academic showboating.

"Outsider" art fascinates me. This is already interesting, only 15 pages in.
