It's feeling better now

I can't stomach this anymore for some reason. The whole bondswoman/ownership thing is really not mixing well with all the radical feminist reading I've been doing! This might be going on hold.

I am losing interest... Now the heroine's noble action is annoying me... the angst is not angst-ing, just feeling annoyed by H+h. I wish H would defy his social class and be bold with it, but I suppose it is more realistic that he'd think to just love his leheman.

Usually I’d be annoyed that the heroine decides to make a “noble” choice versus the practical one, but she does have her economical situation sorted.

I know this was published in 2000 but this, to me, was where we needed to stop meddling with the historical romance hero. Addis is a perfect blend of possessive, illogical, but also waits for consent and reciprocates pleasure. One doesn’t overweigh the other, and the hero is aware of his unfairness but also doesn’t care in his claim of the heroine.
