I enjoyed this book because it focused on showing the people that did good things during the holocaust rather than only focusing on anti-semitism.

I believe It's a confusing book.

The Nazis have now invaded France and are terrorizing Jews there too. Even though they try to escape, the Jews are being denied access to surrounding neutral countries. Kids are being separated from their kids and it is now up to the gentiles to raise the children as their own.

Saving the Jews is starting to backfire as Hiter begins to tighten his grip on the few Jews that remain. The gentails are disappearing while they are needed the most.

Hit!eris determained to rid Nazi Germany of the remaining Jews. As this crisis unfolds, the gentiles take in jews in need of help. The gentiles shelter, feed, and hide the four-thousand Jews left in Germany. Even with their combined efforts the numbers of Jews still plummet every passing day
