Ah now dude, religious brother is Bráthair, sibling is deartháir; religious sister is siúr; sibling is deirfiúr; of course the religious terms reflect LATIN. It's only logical. The term I've always seen for Pig is Muc; not Orc. THose are the ones I'm catching.

Very few cultures are islands, much of early Irish history etc were written down by monks, familiar with latin, who may have adopted latinate terms when they couldn't think of an Irish one and then thought the new word to people. Yes, Romans may have settled but you're not convincing me.
