our yesterday prepares our dreams, image by image, refines the manner of our days,
the days of our previous brothers, and of our past enemies,
we are the ones who have burned with the sun of distant lands.
We have come to the first of the earth to follow the previous paths
and possess the previous rose
and utter the previous language.
