This feels like a cop out to say, but, I don't think I'm enjoying this very much. Due to it being almost a psychoanalysis of the text, with an unclear positioning of theology and belief. It reminds me a bit of my frustration when reading the Moses book - the author's frequent shifting between putting belief to the side for textural interpretation, then demanding tangible evidence.
