Problematic presentation of God and I am only just in the Foreward. Sounds like a horrible God to me: "He works through global events to fulfill His mission. He is even using war and ethnic violence, political disruption, economic uncertainty, and natural disasters to turn the hearts of lost world to the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ."
