Status Updates From An Unlikely Duchess

Like all of MB’s books I have to scam a lot of the filler.

Most of MBs older characters seem really dim witted.

A beta hero for the ages.

MB loves to talk about spanking the FMC as punishment for being independent.

I predict there will be a lot of harping on how short the MMC is. Already it’s been mentioned ed about 5 times.

Oh good we’re going to describe pregnant women as dumpy now. Eye roll.

Giving another old balogh novel a go. Wish me luck.

As much as I love Mary Balogh’s books, if Josephine says “he will kill me,” or “he will kill you,” one more time I may DNF!!!! This heroine is not at all up to Balogh’s standard of maturity.

One of the few books by this author that I’ve never read.
