Status Updates From The Hundred Secret Senses

Oh no! Up until now, I've been able to tolerate all of Kwan's ramblings about the ghosts that she sees, if not exactly enjoying them. Now in the book, Kwan is back in China with her sister. Kwan's ramblings have become so convoluted, that I find myself skipping pages to get through them. Do I continue reading?

Holly shit the amount of sympathy I have stored inside me for these characters is unmeasurable compared to the other characters of other books I read.

Oh my gosh I already feel so deeply connected with the characters, I am so attached to them. I love the pacing I love the stories we have throughout the way, I love the little quotes… okay yeah this book will make me cry by the time I finish it.

I was a bit confused with this in the beginning, but as I'm reading more I'm slowly getting comfortable with this story. It is easy to read, soft, it reads like a memory and we learn things about the characters that makes me... sympathise with them. whilst it's a bit slow so far, it's somehow important that the author does so, to give some momentum and foundation, the immersiveness and depth this book needs.
