I remember loving the way that Kerry had written this the first time too. This scene full of tension. It reminds me of the hotel denouement episodes in a series of unfortunate events; when they’re all getting ready. It’s really good.

I am re reading this book because I remember how addictive it was. I couldn’t stop reading it was just so good and underrated. Although, I cannot remember much about it now, so now that I have found a physical copy of the book in a charity shop, I have been reignited and will read the whole series again. Reading the other books using oceanpdf 🤩🤩
