Status Updates From Mother Knows Best

I finally finishes this book! Going to keep my thoughts brief!

Tandy makes sandwiches and AJ arrives to talk over to her and Alex in regards to Will. Tandy tells AJ that she mainly just wanted her and Will to be friends, and that she's the perfect woman for him. AJ then talks with Will, and thinks of how he's wanting to give everything up, and their relationship. AJ then states she doesn't want kids, and Will feels the same. Will says they could practice, and they have sex.

AJ and Will spend time talking on the bed together. After that, AJ goes over to confront Eleanor, and Eleanor explains how she's trying to explain her actions to her. Eleanor apologizes to AJ for keeping her and her son apart, and that she was wrong, but AJ disagrees and says her apology won't work. Later, Will takes AJ over to a rage room for a date, and the two break stuff so they, as Will states, can work it out.

Will thinks about how he still has to do pretend dates with the girls, and then he gets interviewed by Malcolm about the ladies. Will explains over to Malcolm his decision to not send AJ home. Will talks with Tandy and she's glad that he decided to make her stay. After that, Will confronts his mother, Eleanor, and he states that he'll ask AJ for marriage, but not with her ring, rather, the one he got eight years ago.

AJ thinks about what Will had said over to her, and asking to stay. Malcolm comes in to tell AJ that she has two options, which is she leaves or stays and finishes the show. AJ goes talks over to Will, and she explains everything with how it was more so that they were too different (her a hopeful writer, him a future politician career). After they make up, they have sex and AJ stays, and Will not wanting public life.

Will realizes that he messed up the whole situation, and then he talks over to Malcolm about the situation, with it being that they need to do some more fancy camera editing to fix things up, but Will disagrees. Will goes to talk with Eleanor, and notes how he still loves her, and Eleanor reveals that she tried to pay AJ to stay away from Will, but also realized her mistake. This causes Will to get up and walk away.

AJ is picking out an outfit with Will on the bed and thinking of what to wear. Will then tells AJ how she's the most important thing to him and that his parents will love her, and this leads into Will taking her to bed for sex.

AJ is hurt by seeing Will and Tandy together, and thinking about seeing them so close to one another at the pool. She thinks about their future and hers (moving to Canada, UK, etc to get away from it). They head over to the Kenan Winery and are having wine, with AJ still looking over at Will. Elimination time arrives, with Will picking Chloe to leave, and Alex, Tandy, Molly to stay, along with AJ staying in as well.

Will and the others go to CHLA (Children's Hospital Los Angeles). Mary chats over with them, stating that they're going to the playroom on the fifth floor and spend time with the kids. While they're hanging with the kids, Chloe states how they need a dragon, and he agrees to do it. Later, Will does laps and comes across Tandy, telling him to pick her. Then, they embrace and it causes AJ to notice and she leaves.

AJ and Will discuss with network bigwigs about the show, with Mr. Porter that if AJ convinces Will to choose her, then that'll breach her contract. Malcolm advises AJ not to use her body, and have other ladies flirt with him. Will runs to see AJ, and embraces her, adds that she's the most beautiful woman he's seen, and he still likes her. AJ asks for Will to not kiss another girl in front of her, and he kisses her.

AJ flashes back to her being with Ted and Logan, they are all playing cards together, and Ted wonders about grand gestures, to which AJ states how grand gestures are one thing, but also making sure they need to respect boundaries. Will also states to AJ that he'll be the one to fight for her, because he loves her, this surprises AJ, Logan states not to confess his love in front of him and Ted, and Will kisses her.

Will thinks about AJ and wanting to carry her. Eleanor asks him if he spent time with the women besides Jane, and the plan is that Tandy, Alex, Molly and Emma will be the final four. Later, Eleanor tells Kennedy she's eliminated, but this upsets her, and she's baffled at AJ staying. Eleanor compliments Jane, and Will defends her, says he doesn't want to be with someone who judges appearances, and Kennedy leaves.

AJ thinks about how Chloe had guessed her history with Will, and also asks different questions. AJ thinks about how their plans remain the same, her wanting to be a novelist and Will a contract lawyer. During the fashion challenge, AJ talks to Cooper about the readers program, and she learns that Eleanor's husband is involved, and he considers Will a godson. AJ reads the note from Cooper on the white jumpsuit.

AJ flashes back to the time where she's out and sees a dog knock her over, to which the guy comes up and apologizes to her. The guy, Will, explains he volunteers at a rescue league. In the present, Eleanor eliminates Rose and Will states to Malcolm that he likes Jane the most. In the study, Will practices dancing with AJ, which leads to them making out and him touching her to climax, and Will thinks about AJ after.

AJ avoids Will and his mother after the kiss that took place in the study. With the next activity, Eleanor and the girls go to an animal shelter called Furr-Ever Friends, in which they deal with paperwork and cleaning dog kennels. AJ and Georgia continue work, until Will arrives. Will and AJ talk, with Will states how he hasn't been to a shelter in years, and AJ thinks back to him losing Gerald, his dog.

Will can't help but notice AJ out on the deck, trying not to get hard from seeing her, so he talks to Tandy for the time being, but his mind doesn't care, and notices AJ's hat. Will asks the girls (Chloe, AJ, Alex) if they're interested in a game, and AJ doesn't mind. Later, Will tells his mother that he loved AJ. Will talks to AJ in the study, tells her about things he wanted to do to her but can't, and they kiss.

Chloe pops in to see AJ in the bedroom and after AJ puts on her bathing suit, the two walk out. She immediately notices Will looking at her. Alex tells the two they can join, but AJ isn't interested. The girls talk, with Alex noting how they're all token contestants (her being black, Chloe Asian, and AJ plus size). They talk relationships, and AJ mentions how she's hasn't been sexually liberated in 5+ years.

Breakfast is tense between everyone, since no one expected four ladies to go home. Alex starts making eggs, and gives advice when it comes to preparing them. Chloe calls out Kennedy in regards to the sugar intake comment. Later, Eleanor takes the girls out sailing since her son loves sailing and has a boat (something AJ didn't know). From there, it flashes back to when AJ and Will are at the harbor together.

Will is getting to know the women, but also realizing that they don't have nametags and blend together, and he also thinks about how he saw AJ. Will finds AJ in the bathroom, she asks if he's okay, and the two kiss. AJ explains how she's paid to be on the show and supposed to make the final five, then leave. Eleanor picks who stays, and Will states that he'll make the cuts, not being into the way eliminations work.

Will's eating breakfast with his mom and is thinks of his father, a senator. Will chats with Malcolm Fox about wanting to find love on a new reality show called First Lady, with his mother making the decisions. Will and Eleanor arrive and meet the girls, then, he comes across a contestant, AJ (Jane), being his ex. AJ is confident with her body (being fat), and after standing up for herself, she chats with Eleanor.
