Decide to reread some of the "classics" from my high school reading days. I should've just read the actual book bc the narrarator for the audibook is insufferable and makes the entire book boring and hard to finish 😩

Story plot: great! MC: bleh, b!tchy, self-hating homophobe w/ no context. Not religious or around naysayers soooo what’s the deal?

I'm a little annoyed because I think I read this book years ago but it was still on my Wishlist so I don't know if I finished it but I know for sure I've read Southern Comfort, but I could read it again, I hate to waste a library credit.
