This is much more then just a tongue in cheek ironic tale about the difference between American and English language, people and habits.
Ms Waters put her finger on pretty much all the flaws of either of them (the sereotype ones, for sure) but I have met many of either sort and as a mainland European I can well enjoy the absurdity of it, after all they all claim to speak English. As well as another dozen + nations.
