Status Updates From Infinity's Child

The new investors are creating a problem. Lynch and Foster are hustling to figure out how they can get the money from them, keep their illegal grave robbing a secret, possibly get the missing organs from Cornell or Bellevue University specimen rooms and deal with Sally.

The stolen bodies and bones of the first graverobbing appear back in the cemetery. Mr. Stagg is frozen in a cryogenic tube. Sally prints an editorial about local youths as possible perps in the grave robbing. Mr. Giles, a wealthy man, returns with his family to rebury his family member and Sally asks if he is still offering a reward to find the graverobbers-concerned about what will happen to the teens involved.

Sally becomes more irritated and suspicious as Police Chief Stebbins continues to treat this as a kid's prank and shows no respect for the victim's families or the severity of the crime. Sally is having a girl! Malan seems overly happy about this. The pretty woman with Malan at a restaurant turns out to be an anesthesiologist, Dr. Downs. Amniotic fluid is drawn with an unusually long and uncommonly thick needle.

The dates are interesting: April 4, 1911-July 12, 1944, and 1834-1936, Sally is shocked to learn it is the grave of her great -great grandmother, Martha Whitson Avery. The irony of it: the body's organs, which are all missing-were obviously donated to a medical school class for dissection! Will the second body yield the organs they need? Connection to me-I have an Aunt Martha and a friend who's last name is Avery!

Mark and Sally fly to the Keller Clinic in the Dallas-FortWorth area. They are surprised to find out that they have been booked into the Royal-a very expensive hotel. They speak with Dr. Carl Keller who tells them that Holland booked it for them. A Dr. Carson sees a bluish discoloration to the cervix-is that Chadwick's sign? Sally is pregnant already! Another graverobbing. two graves. One is Sally's relative.

Paul Holland contacts Sally at the Weekly, much to her chagrin. I found another reference with a connection to my personal life-my mom loved Johnny Mathis songs. I did too. Sally and her husband dance to one.
Lynch approaches investors. Claims they have identified chromosome number 22 as the infinity gene. Lisa is Sally's young reporter at the Weekly. She is investigating the graverobbing-coverup-the sneakers!

Holland learns of the illegal acts being perpetrated, to continue their research. They are paying off medical staff, law enforcement, and ordinary citizens, to get the information or samples they need! New connections to the people of Edwardstown emerge! Holland becomes an unwitting accomplice, in the death of the young/old Clark, when he makes the suggestion of needing to take biopsies from all Clark's organs.

Lynch tells Holland that they have separated and identified the gene responsible for aequorin, and the protein that allows cells to live forever, Connection--one of our personal Bible study aids is called, "You can live forever"! A drug that could keep him, Holland, alive? Research stealing is mentioned. Dr. Foster, a microbiologist-like my youngest sister- had his work stolen by D.L. Cohen- Nobel prize winner.
