Status Updates From Warleggan (Poldark, #4)

When I read the last page of book 3 out of 4, I am like Elizabeth (the character), don’t blame Ross. You enticed him in your letter to him. Shaking my head 🤦🏼‍♀️

Now I am saying in my head “No, Demelza, No!” Because she is at a birthday party without her husband and she wants to get back at him by being with another guy. 🤦🏼‍♀️ She is too good for this and brilliant.

There is 100% lack of communication between Ross and Demelza now because Ross slept with Elizabeth. I do feel bad for Demelza from the last chapter because she thought about how Ross was in and out of love with Demelza; more so in than out and she is angry towards both Elizabeth and Ross, which I don’t blame her.

I don’t like Ross at this time because as I already saw the tv series, he has an affair with his cousin by marriage Elizabeth. I’m like Ross! You are a married man. Don’t do this.

Ross is still in financial difficulty and still trying to make ends meet. He did however sold his last shares of Wheal Leisure and wanted to give the money to Elizabeth because she is hurting financially post her husband’s death. He did this anonymously. Of course Elizabeth refused.
