Status Updates From Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

Finished the first 3 chapters and I am already hooked.

This is my kind of storytelling.

I'm having a wonderful time. So fun going back and seeing the ways Clarke is building the story, picking up on new things, understanding the significance of certain conversations or interactions between characters and how they will play out.

I don’t know if I’ll stick with it. The author really makes it as boring and pretentious as possible. I see why many people dropped this. Looks like it doesn’t get good until chapter 22. You can’t bore people for 21 chapters and think they’re going to read it. I don’t have a lot of time so this feels like a waste.
