This is the same author as the England book and it’s just as horrendous and it’s twice the length of a normal SASS book. I’m determined to finish this for my book blog, but it’s already a hate read 🐨

Hugh Jackman is an obvious choice when referencing Aussie hotties, but who goes straight to Eric Bana? I mean this was pubbed in 2010, but come on! 👁👄👁

It's just Phillip Island, not Prince Phillip... and omg it's vegemite here, not marmite! Weirdly they got it right once, then changed... seriously, they just needed an Aussie proof-reader :(

But, on the other hand, it's giving me a nice little nostalgia trip having them go to the Espy, and Jam Factory Borders!

There are TWO authors here, and neither of them thought to get an actual Aussie on board when setting half of this in Melbourne?! It's St. Cath's not St. Cat's, we don't have "pre-calculus", we say maths not math we don't say middle school... I like the story and the characters but the lack of authenticity is just killing me a little!
