Status Updates From The Stones of Mourning Creek

In my book The Stones Of Mourning Creek, Francies mom hit her head on a metal piece and died. While Francie was down at the creek feeling down a cotton head snake bit her ankle. She passed out and Rae came and fixed her up. Now Fracies trying to figure out what really happened to her mom.

"Do ya ever feel like the past is real close? Almost like you could look right over your shoulder and there it'd be?"
