Just started on Chapter 10. What a Chapter after 9. if I say anything more I'll spoil this for new readers but LOVE IT. I'm a bigger than average fan of this Author so seeing how All of Velgarth's story is woven together at this point. Lackey writes mostly triologies but they all connect in various ways as they're all set in the same world so her books are like Episodes of the same series all set in the same world.

This sequel is much better than the first but I’m still not gripped. It’s unfortunately that the experience with the first book really didn’t connect with me. I may have also experienced a less than favorable view of this book based on many of the reviews.
