So Far I learned
-we learned people can make inferences based on a series of images from the Soviet Montage
-silent films weren’t silent they always had a live orchestra, band or player with the movie
-1940s movies like Casablanca were influenced by WWII and the end shows that the greater good is sometimes better than having your perfect love story.
-180* line and how sitcoms have it and movies try to not

TIL I learned that “Letterboxd” is named after the term “letterboxing” which is a film technique… this whole time I just thought they made up the word “letterbox” and then added a d to be quirky…this makes SO much more sense haha
