What an interesting perspective of life. History that is not limited to assumptions, misinformation, and selective ignorance but instead a people, a tribe, that is simply collecting the pieces of a heritage that was broken by invaders. I love the way it is written outside of a historical “textbook” context, but instead the psychology and mindset that’s needed to move forward while enduring brokenness.

Don’t disagree with anything said so far, which may be the problem. Don’t need to convince me that there should be a bigger emphasis on the “we” than the “me”!
