Status Updates From The Gastronomica Reader

I hadn't come across the Gastronomica publication prior to being recommended this volume. It is a large book, but so far the selection of articles have been intriguing - from an exploration of geophagy to the religious influence of fasting and the subsequent eroticism of abstinence whilst juxtaposed with exploration of the competitive eating scene ... and we've barely cracked the spine!
