Status Updates From If I Stay (If I Stay, #1)

When I found out that both of Mia's parents were dead, I was shocked. At first when I read a summary of the book, I was confused why she would debate going back to life, but now I get it. A quote that sticks out to me is, "If I stay. If I live. It's up to me...I decide, I know this now." I predict that Mia is going to debate whether or not to go back to the living world. However I think she will for Teddy and Adam.

I liked seeing Mia and Adam’s relationship and how they’ve grown throughout high school. I think as they get older they’re coming to realize that they have different dreams and it’s hard to comprehend a life so far away from each other. However I think they’re learning that they still hold each other dearly and that a relationship is a commitment they have to make over and over to make sure both are happy.

I like seeing Mia and Adam’s relationship and how things didn’t always work out. I think they’re both learning that it’s okay to have different things they want to do in their lives and these things may force them apart but that doesn’t mean they stop loving each other. They realized they have different choices to make as they grow older and that their relationship is a commitment that they have to make.
