Status Updates From Cry Wolf (Doucet)

For a book I grabbed blindly off the value village shelves, this is heat. The characters have instant depth and motivations and the world building is rich. Laurel and Savannah are relatable. At this point, im still wondering how this ends up being a horror novel and not a love triangle. The atmosphere is eerie but far away, the murders aren’t happening in your jurisdiction. I am looking forward to reading more!

Loving this book

This book has me laughing out loud. The whole Bayou setting works do well . I do like the chemistry between Laurel and the devilish Jack.
I know that the character Savannah is going to break my heart at some point in this read.
