The descent of all life through evolutionary processes is not a 'theory' in the sense that the creationists would have us believe. So overwhelming is the evidence for evolution by descent that one could say that it is as secure as the fact that the Earth goes around the Sun and not the other way around.

He sees the room as a metaphor for one's lifetime : a collection of sorts.
Like suppressed memories. "We are all our own curators."
